about this place
my name is seren. i'm twenty-one years old and a real-life person from new zealand. around here i maintain a small collection of whatever i want.
i started working on this site in 2024, but abandoned it for slow progress and a murky vision. i picked it back up mid-2026. my intention is to build a space for myself on the internet, distinct from mainstream social media, where i can prove that i exist.

update log
18-06-2026: redesigned the home page; added update log and all this other stuff too. posted a little story i wrote.
08-06-2026: spending a lot of time fixing boring problems. changed some layout stuff and refactored a bunch of my terrible code. the texts page is functional except for popup dragging on mobile.
03-06-2026: took me a while but i learned how to make popups. pay them a visit on the texts page and drag them around a little while you're there. next up i'll add a couple more sections for films and albums, and then i'll make sure it's all nice and mobile friendly.
31-05-2026: temporarily fixed the tag pathing problem inside blog-post thanks to my good friend lot of doves.rest b
29-05-2026: there's some kind of issue with neocities caching old versions of my files, displaying pages according to code that does not exist in the site directory. a previous version of blog.html is sometimes served instead of the version that does exist in the directory. i'm pretty sure it's not my fault.
28-05-2026: the blog is functional but i haven't put any real posts up yet. all pages should be mobile responsive.
